Starts with a real problem
A tool must remove friction from a department's actual work: a decision, a control, a workflow or a research process.

TIC Tools · Department-built technology
At Técnico Investment Club, engineering is part of how we practise finance. Risk-AM is the first public tool in a catalogue designed to grow: software born inside a department, connected to real data and used by the team that built it.
Tool 01 · Asset Management / Risk Team
01 live tool
Risk-AM replays every transaction, computes the risk, checks it against each fund's mandate, and hands the result to the person who has to act on it. A Python analytics engine behind a role-aware Streamlit workspace, built and operated by TIC students.

02 · How the catalogue grows
This page is designed to grow across TIC departments without becoming a gallery of unfinished prototypes. The bar is deliberately high: useful, integrated and operated.
01
A tool must remove friction from a department's actual work: a decision, a control, a workflow or a research process.
02
Models are connected to data, storage, interfaces, automation and tests. The output is a system, not a notebook demo.
03
Data lineage, access, validation and model limits are visible. Generated language never replaces computed evidence.
04
We publish tools that operate inside the club. Future projects join this catalogue when they meet the same standard.
Risk-AM is Tool 01. The catalogue grows from here.
Future tools can come from any TIC department. A tool is added here only after a team has built working software for a real workflow, model or research method.
